Stress!!!

Everything is ready for my exhibition, starting tomorrow 10am (ouff!!). I went to the Cultural Centre this morning and received the spare key, but.... The lady exhibiting the work of her late husband in the Hall now, just told me that she doesn't know when she is leaving. She has to wait for a friend to come and bring her home with all the paintings. The friend is working as a dentist until 6pm in Brussels (about 100km from here), bring her little girl to her mother's place and then come to Blankenberge (right in the rush-hour!!!). Because her exhibition is open until 6pm, we had planned to be able to start at about 7 or 8pm. I made a plan of the Hall and arranged little photo's of my paintings, so we didn't have to worry wich work hangs where! But we have to rearrange the furniture in the Hall: the lady didn't had that many paintings. I don't know if we can start this evening, or getting overthere early tomorrow morning. I have to be ready at 10am because at the opening of the "Local Artists Exhibition", I spoke to the Mayor, who is always coming to see every exhibition and he checked his agenda and told me that he made a note of it. I don't know when he is coming, but I can't be standing on a ladder with only half of my paintings hanging on the walls and ask him to come back later!!! So, for the moment there is nothing more to do for me than wait and wait until the lady phones me that she is ready to leave! All the best to you all and I keep you informed, :) Mia.
