A few months a go on the gallery i was having problems with my thinking of watercolours. I have been told from being a student that watercolours are delicate, and translucent, a little goes a very long way, and are meant to be what i call 'wishy washy' Is it really a common mis-conception? should watercolours only be used sparingly and have the look of 'wishy washyness' or not ?
