Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition

The Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition opens at the Mall Galleries this week.

The Royal Society of Marine Artists annual exhibition opens on the 14th October at the Mall Galleries, London to the 25th October. I am extremely happy to have two paintings on show in the exhibition again this year. If you enjoy paintings on the theme of marine subjects with works by David Curtis, Trevor Chamberlain, Geoff Hunt, David Howell, William Carney, Moira Huntly, Ivan Lapper, Peter Wileman, Bruce Mulcahy, Douglas Gray, Fred Beckett, Robery Brindley, Peter Barker, Lesley Dabson together with many, many others this is a must-see exhibition. Many of the works in the exhibition can also be seen and purchased online - http://www.mallgalleries.org.uk/whats-on/exhibitions/royal-society-marine-artists-annual-exhibition-2015 Think about becoming a friend of the society to receive private view invitations, discounts on workshop fees, a newsletter and more. "Join the Royal Society of Marine Artists for their 70th Annual Exhibition celebrating the sea and the marine environment in all its variety - from the deep sea to quiet harbours, from super-tankers to sailing dinghies, from all that is beside the sea to what lies under it. On show will be over 300 works by some of the most celebrated marine artists at work today. Relive those treasured memories of a picnic on the beach or a walk on a cliff-top path, of dinghy sailing or sailing the high seas as you cruised to warmer climes." During the exhibition members will be tutoring practical painting workshops in the Learning Centre (bookable in advance) and giving free demonstrations in the gallery.
