Hi Patricia, Wow, beautiful kitchen. I'm redecorating & moving house( into the house that's being redecked- new bathroom, new kitchen, all the rooms repainted), so I sympathized greatly with your problems of not being able to concentrate on your art. Anyway, happy painting from here on in....:)

Hi Patricia your kitchen looks fantastic worth the trouble...thanks I'm glad you like the latest piece not quite finished yet but have a photo for the Australian colours which are so different...I love my new course it's very disciplined, Pen Ink and Watercolour but it's a good way to learn some control...the little new work was done last week when the Tutor had a bad cold but today it was back to basics...a page with a colour wheel to fill in and making greens which was great because the greens were so Aussie so it gave me some idea of making the greens to finish the gum leaves...he has now set us projects giving us copies of pictures he has taken and my homework this week is to stretch some paper and put in a light sketch and we will start painting next week...I can't say I really like the picture he has given me but it has a lot of possibilities for cutting in with ink...I don't think he cares if it takes us all term to finish a work just so long as we learn...yes gotta stay positive I seldom get sick but when I do it's usually serious...unfortunately I'm a little bleeder just a small cut and it's everywhere got to put a lot of pressure on for it to stop...I don't mind having the tests because your asleep but that preparation makes me so ill all that magnesium is awful can't drink it all...pity we couldn't swap some cells be better than the alternative either some blood or those awful iron injections which hurt like h*ll...I've never had one have never been this bad before but I have given them and usually a lot of groaning or squealing goes on...serves me right...have you painted anything new one of those beautiful silk paintings...you must have a lot of patience I had a look at a book and there's a lot of preparation isn't there...well Patricia I have run out of words I can rattle on a bit so looking forward to hearing from you
