Keep The Art Coming.

I signed up with the Paintersonline website in Feb this year and immediately found myself at home. It is a privilege to be amongst so many talented and skilled artist. Also it is a pleasure to see many people stepping out into becoming the next generation of artist. May I add that has nothing to do with age. Anyone can start doing art at any time in life. My background has shown me that art is a rewarding and healing activity. So thank you all you image makers in whatever your style or medium you work. There would be no Paintersonline without you.

Surrounding yourself with people who inspire and make you better is a key ingredient to self healing and success. Here strangers become the near and dear ones whose souls converse through language of heart.

I agree wholeheartedly with you John. I like to comment, not because I am an expert but because I like so many artworks that I just have to let the artists know. I am enjoying being on Paintersonline and I think helpful comments are good. I, for one would really appreciate any helpful comments when I try watercolour again - something I am very poor at. It's lovely to have so many people taking an interest.

I agree - It's the artists that make it and especially the stalwarts continue to comment in the forum and on paintings in the gallery. (You know who you are.) I've been a member for a few years now, but often get embroiled in other things, so do not contribute for months on end. Or more recently the weather has been so bad for months that I can't take a decent picture of my art work. But when I return my enthusiasm is immediately refreshed. I'm also glad that comments are frank and honest. If I have to go back and reliant its then so be it. That the way to get better.
