This painting was completed during the Covid19 pandemic when London was in lockdown and almost deserted. The idea of dawn breaking over London represents hope for better times for London. This painting was in an online exhibition in aid of the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals and was chosen as the image to represent the exhibition on Eventbrite. This is the 6th in a series of London skylines that I have been working on. I used indigo FW acrylic ink, acrylics, a bit of Schminke silver and a lot of artistic license!
