Paint and paper do not always produce pleasure

I cover paper, sometimes it's a painting and some times it isn't! I have come to painting seriously rather late in life, and to help I took a successful 2 year life-drawing course at Derby's Mackworth college. (They still have the best part of my work and won't let me have it back!) :( And it took them 18 months to send me my last results, the reasoning was that I was not as important as the rest of the class nor the next new intake :( I joined a watercolour course last year, but not with Mackworth college! I like to work with charcoal, pastels, and now watercolours but I don't mind trying my hand at acrylics and oils at times. At present I am helping to arrange an art exhibition at Burton-Upon-Trent's Brewhouse Gallery, Union Street. from 20th October until 17th November. I am also a member of a local art group and found myself elected/volunteering to be the publicity person! I really must stop trying to swot flies in meetings! just kidding :D
