I am finally getting back into my painting. We have moved house and I now have a studio to work in. It's wonderful to have my own room. I still need to decorate it as the current decor is a bit dark, I need to make it as bright as possible. It has french doors leading onto our beautiful garden (created by the previous owner). We have loads to do as we want to make the house our own. We are currently decorating the guest bedroom. With all that has been going on I haven't been able to concentrate on painting but recently produced the three still life paintings on my gallery. They only took an afternoon each, had to hurry before the vegetables shrivelled up, the mushrooms went very nicely with some steak that evening. I may continue on the vegetable theme as it's quick and easy for the moment, but we had a lovely holiday on the Ile de Re in France and I have some beautiful photos that I would love to paint.
