The ARTIST I have always loved to draw and be creative. During my years at school I sketched portraits of those around me. Later, I experimented with colour and painted wildlife and pet portraits. Now I have a passion for painting Locomotives. I also enjoy painting cars and other modes of transport. The WRITER & ILLUSTRATOR I published my first children’s book on Kindle in 2015: “The Seagull who loves Chips” followed by “Chip saves the day”- inspired by my love of the seaside and my dad (who asked me to illustrate some of the books he had written). My books are about an unusual seagull who befriends a lonely boy. Together they educate the young reader on the dangers of the sea mixed with an element of fun and advice. The PERSON I enjoy reading mystery books, taking photographs and have a Ba(hons) degree in Graphic Design. I am married to a wonderful man and we have a teenage daughter together with a cat named Pepper. We currently reside in Oldham, Lancashire
