Painterly brushwork in oil animal painting with Greta Vilidaite
Make your animal oil paintings come alive with brave, deliberate brushstrokes, accurate value judgements and simplification.
Tuesday 11th March at 11am (BST)
Tickets: £15
In this webinar you will leave stiff animal paintings behind as you learn how to paint dynamic, lifelike animals that seem to move through the scene. Greta will show you her approach to painting accurately but loosely, as well as how she changes and simplifies things for a more painterly result. During the webinar, you will dive into painting an atmospheric sheep in a landscape painting.
You will learn:
- How to use and create soft and hard edges
- Why brave brushstrokes create better paintings
- How to paint an animal accurately with value and temperature
- Simplifying detail on the animal
