Flowers are colourful, unique and uplifting. Join Julie for step-by-step guidance on interpreting beautiful flowers in watercolour. Julie will demonstrate how to simplify and paint flowers from a reference photograph provided, giving you inspiration to create your own interpretation. 

In this webinar paint fragile, papery flowers with hints of directional veins suggesting their form and movement.

You will learn:

• To paint a frilly translucent and papery petal
• How to paint the paper covering surrounding the emerging bud
• Keeping veins minimal to suggest the direction of the growth of the petal

• The webinar will take place on Zoom and will last for approximately 1 hour including a Q&A session (these are approximate timings and may vary slightly).
• Once you have registered for the webinar, you'll receive an email confirmation containing your link to join the webinar on the day, plus Julie's suggested materials list and reference photograph.
• During the webinar, you'll have the opportunity to submit your questions and chat with fellow attendees using the Q&A and 'chat' buttons at the bottom of your screen. 
• The webinar will be recorded and will be made available to all registered attendees the day after the live session, for a one month following the live webinar.
