Distant boats with Grahame Booth
Join Grahame Booth for a live webinar, where you will discover how to paint natural, simple boats in the distance.
Tuesday 9 January at 11am (GMT)
Tickets: £15
Drawing and painting boats – it’s not as hard as you think. Boats are a favourite subject for the artist, but many painters struggle with getting them right. They can end up twisted or out of proportion, and sometimes appearing to sit up out of the water. These are all problems that we will address in this series of webinars.
For the final webinar of the series, we will explore painting boats in the distance. If you joined the previous three webinars in this series, this might seem slightly unusual after all of our work, but it is so easy to overemphasise the detail of distant boats, making them look very unnatural. You will see how to keep it natural, as well as how to create dozens of boats in a really simple way.
