Webinar materials list: Season's change with Robert Dutton
Thank you for registering for our live Painters Online webinar with Robert Dutton.
Ahead of the live session on Tuesday 23 January, you can access Robert's suggested materials list and reference photograph.
Suggested materials
- Highly recommend Black Canson Mi-Tientes ‘Touch’ 350gsm pastel paper! Full sheet 50 x 65cm (half sheet for artists who want to work smaller)
- Alternative support - black or very dark pastel support in other brands provided the paper isn’t too thin and has a good tooth
- Hard and soft pastel such as Rembrandt and Unison Colour pastels in relation to the scene. A few brighter highlight pastels such won’t go amiss nor will rich darks (such as Dark 24 from the Unison Colour range, for example)
- Drawing board to fit the support size you want to work on
- Tape or bulldog clips to secure your paper to a drawing board
Note: Don’t forget to set your easel in an upright position - not flat!
