Draw two long stems and create a guideline halfway up.

Draw an oval over the stems, with the lower portion just crossing over the guideline. Rub out the guide.

Add a curved shape for the mouse’s head.

Sketch the eye, mouth, nose and ear. Use guides to help with positioning if needed.

Thicken the stem of the corn and add three leaf shapes to the top of the first one.

Create the legs and wrap the feet around the stems.

Complete the rest of the corn using small leaf shapes.

Give the mouse a tail, wrapping it around the corn stem.

Add whiskers and detail to the fur.

Use strokes of different browns to give the impression of fluffy fur.
