Two exhibitions opening soon at Patchings Art Centre
Patchings announce two exciting exhibitions.
As we come out of lockdown and just ahead of our 2021 TALP Open exhibitions, Patchings are pleased to announce two exciting exhibitions featuring the work of popular magazine contributors and regular demonstrators in our marquee at Patchings Festival, Carole Baker and Tim Fisher.
Emotive Landscapes is an exhibition of watercolour and mixed media paintings on paper by Carole Baker RBSA.
Carole’s first love is watercolour and to this day is a big part of her creative process. She can often be seen in the countryside around her home and studio watercolour painting and gathering lots of source material for her studio paintings.
Her watercolours are spontaneous and free and she aims to draw the viewer in by using bold vibrant colour and expressive mark making.
Wandering Happily by Carole Baker
A Brush with Colour and Light showcases a wide cross section of paintings by Tim Fisher, offering a dynamic combination of different
mediums, methods, concepts and subjects contained within at least 20 original artworks on display to suit all tastes.
This will be the first time this year Tim has had the opportunity to display such a large body of work.

The exhibitions run from 3 July to 15 August at Patchings.
This year's TALP Open exhibitions will run from August 21 to September 26.
