A selection of Rob Wareing's recent portraits and figurative studies in both oils and pastels go on show in The Barn Gallery at Patchings Art Centre in Nottingham from July 25 to September 6, 2015. Exhibited works include studies of musicians, people outdoors (particularly on the beach) and traditional figure studies painted in Rob's studio in South Africa. Rob writes regularly for The Artist magazine.

Joel's work is more impressionistic and focuses on body language and interaction of people within urban environments.

Both artists show contrasting styles, resulting in an absorbing exhibition.

Meet the Artist Days will take place in the Barn Gallery on Saturday and Sunday 25 and 26 July; 1 and 2 August; Saturday, Sunday and Monday 29 - 31 August.
