Jenny

Jenny Aitken is a regular contributor to The Artist who works in acrylics and oils, and is inspired by movement, light and atmosphere in her paintings. Join Jenny on Thursday 14th July, 10am-1pm, or 2pm-5pm, at Patchings Festival of Art, Craft & Design, and learn how to construct a landscape painting with light and depth in mind.

Enrich your understanding of brush technique, colour mixing and using texture for lighting effects. Develop your artistic technique with the workshop's focus on tonal analysis, creative composition, blocking in, colour mixing and textural contrast through varied brushwork. Jenny will begin with a demonstration, and then provide individual teaching and advice.

Plus, courtesy of Daler-Rowney, each participant will receive System3 Fluid Starter Set containing six 29.5ml tubes; three 59ml tubes of System3 Heavy Body Acrylics; a System3 A4 Artboard Pad and a System3 Brush Wallet containing three short handle brushes, worth over £60(RRP).
