Sky Arts are currently looking for artists to take part in the new series of Landscape Artist of the Year.

The series will be filmed in spectacular locations around the UK over the course of this Summer.

As we finally come out of the national lockdown they are hoping this will be the best yet for both artists and viewers.

All filming will be conducted under strict Covid-secure protocols regarding social distancing and health and safety.

Artists are invited to enter with a landscape artwork, created within the last five years, via the website: www.skyartsartistoftheyear.tv/landscape.

If selected to take part in the competition you will be given the opportunity to paint a specially chosen, stunning landscape within the UK.

The prize on offer is a £10,000 commission for a major British institution plus £500 worth of art materials from Cass Art.

The deadline for applying to the competition is 30th April 2021.

If you would like to watch Landscape Artist of the Year being filmed, the heats are scheduled to take place at various locations around the UK in June/July 2021 and Sky would love you to join them if guidelines allow.
