Ahead of the live session on Tuesday 14 March, you can access Grahame's reference photograph and suggested materials list below.

Suggested materials

Watercolours

  • French Ultramarine
  • Winsor Blue GS (Phthalo Blue GS and Intense Blue are the same)
  • Cerulean Blue
  • Cobalt Blue
  • Quinacridone Magenta (or any purple red)
  • Winsor Red (or any orange red Pyrrol Red, Cadmium Red)
  • Indian Yellow (or any orange yellow)
  • Winsor Yellow (or any green yellow such as lemon yellow, azo yellow, aureolin)
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Neutral Tint (or any black)
  • White Gouache

Brushes

  • Mop or hake or soft flat for big washes
  • Size 10-14 round (I use Rosemary&Co series 402)
  • Size 7 round (I use Rosemary&Co series 402)
  • Small swordliner or rigger or reservoir brush (I use Rosemary&Co series 770)

Paper

  • Quarter sheet (28 x 38cm or 11 x 16”) or thereabouts
  • Good quality watercolour paper. I will use Millford and Saunders from St. Cuthberts Mill

Webinar information

  • The webinar will take place on Zoom and will last for approximately 1 hour including a Q&A session (these are approximate timings and may vary slightly).
  • During the webinar, you'll have the opportunity to submit your questions and chat with fellow attendees using the Q&A and 'chat' buttons at the bottom of your screen. 
  • The webinar will be recorded and will be made available to all ticket-holders the day after the live session, for a one month following the live webinar. 
  • Choose to either paint-along with Grahame live or in your own time with the webinar recording.
