Lovely watercolour Vivien. The Amarylliss leaves are so well observed and beautifully painted. I also like the slightly textured background fading towards the edges of the paper. Good composition as well and of course, it's always good to see your work here!

Watercolour on paper. Not a good photo unfortunately, as it was taken after framing. A beautifull unusual lime green flower with thin petals each edged with palest pink. I grew it indoors at Christmas.. it really is an exotic subject to paint and not at all like the usual amarylis blooms
