The paper almost makes it look like an embroidered design, don't you think? Very effective indeed.

It certainly adds a different dimension doesn't it...I shall do more... with different subjects to see the variations.

Inktense Watersoluble pencils on Canvas textured watercolour paper. Left side section of landscape format painting. The texture of the paper gives an interesting effect... more so than on plain paper I think. The painting was photographed in 3 sections to show more clearly the finished effect of the artwork after water added.
