I was going to ask if it was and evening scene, as it doesn't have your 'trademark' sunshine. Lovely work.

Great title Thalia, and a smashing little take-home for the tourists.

Lovely piece,Thalia. A sure seller.

These colours go so well together, a lovely painting 😃

Interesting shapes and colouring Thalia.

Thank you CA Jones, It does indeed have an evening feel, I actually sponged out a lot of unwanted business above the boat and strengthened the brushwork later, too hot to think on site!!! Thank you Alan and Seth...hope so!! Thanks Linda and John, the boats here are a riot of colour and very hard to paint in oils as you can imagine!!!

Vibrant work. I like it . New to this site so only way to answer your question about iverine is this way. It's a form of plastic that will take watercolour or oil paints on a slightly roughened surface. It was used by miniature artists . Was given a piece and used it on that work in the nineties last century. Haven't used it since.

Ah! Thank you Tom! Now called Yupo, i think...thought about importing some but decided to stick with my normal paper!!! Thanks for you r kind comment, love your work, Tom!

Love those old colourful fishing boats, a sure seller.

This little chap is ready and waiting, framed and very affordable for tourists in the exhibition. I painted it late on a hot Sunday morning in the only bit of uncomfortable shade I could find!
