Thank you CA Jones, It does indeed have an evening feel, I actually sponged out a lot of unwanted business above the boat and strengthened the brushwork later, too hot to think on site!!! Vibrant work. I like it . New to this site so only way to answer your question about iverine is this way. It's a form of plastic that will take watercolour or oil paints on a slightly roughened surface. It was used by miniature artists . Was given a piece and used it on that work in the nineties last century. Haven't used it since.
