A fine portfolio of portraits Susan, very accomplished work. I particularly remember the one you have featured, the distinguished gentleman.

A fine selection, I like them all, but the lady bottom left in particular. They all look very well together.

What an excellent compilation. Great to look back at what's been done.

Excellent work!

Enjoyed them all Susan, you had a great year

I thought I'd share, my favourite nine portraits I did last year. I did about 30 in all! The larger painting was one of my first portraits and completed in January 2020. It was a study from an article by Lizet Dingemans in the December 2019 issue of the 'Artists & Illustrators' magazine. She was demonstrating how to paint like John Singer Sargent 'A Portrait of General Sir Ian Standish Monteith Hamilton'. All my portraits have been painted with acrylic.

In late 2017 I joined an acrylic art class as a beginner and I've been painting ever since. I particularly enjoy impressionism, expressionism and fauvism and a lot of my art work reflects this. I also enjoying painting portraits. I would like to thank all POL members who help and encourage me.
