Hang on Studio Wall

I've always wanted to have a go at a portrait in charcoal, a medium I'd never used before. Well, I was very fortunate to attend a 'drawing the portrait in charcoal' workshop at Raw Umber Studios, Stroud and this is the portrait I produced A1 size. The course was intensive but most enjoyable and the tutor, Lucas Garcia was excellent. I really learnt a lot and feel it has given me the foundations to build on. All I have to do now is keep practicing... a lot!!
