After Mary Cassatt. “The reader”

Comments

Good one Linda, really like the brushwork

I don’t know very much about portraiture Linda, but the skin tones look very natural.

Two fine portraits, Linda. I admire Mary Cassatt's work, the few times I've copied an artist's work has led to a greater appreciation of them, and a fine learning process.

Many thanks, Lewis, Heather and Fiona.

You have managed to keep the sensitivity and softness in your work that Mary Cassatt conveyed in her work too .

Thank you so much for your kind comment Sarah.

This is good as well. I love her paintings as well.

Thanks John. I’m now doing another portrait with an almost identical view.
