This is lovely Sarah, I am a sucker for a tiger, and its the year of the tiger too, so very fitting :)

What a beautiful, majestic animal. I like the way the background frames it

That is very good, Sarah. I am look up the Chinese techniques and have a go!!

This is wonderful and you'd be great at Chinese style painting ... give it a go!

And you have done it really well, much to like about it.

It is really good Sarah.

Aww lovely tiger 🐅 😍

Terrific Tiger.

A beautiful tiger Sarah, he’s out on the hunt.

Thank you so much Carrie, Diana, David, Heather, Paul, Denise, Faye, Chris and Carole for those lovely comments.

Another beauty Sarah.

I do like your Tiger Sarah! Great proportions and colours…..I like the way you have painted the muted surroundings as well, it doesn’t detract from Tigs.

Wow this is brilliant Sarah, your so talented👍👏👏

Thank you so much Carole , Fiona and Keith - lovely comments!

This is lovely Sarah - you've really captured the movement and I love the way you’ve used colour.

Thank you very much Rachel

Love the way he looks camouflaged.

Thank you Shirley, glad you think that!

This is just super, Sarah! You've really captured the purposeful stride and the majestic bearing of the tiger. I've been away from this site for a while and just chanced on your painting, hence my late comment. I hope you do give Chinese painting a go and would love to see your work. It's one of the most challenging mediums I've encountered, but also very rewarding once you get the hang of it.

Thanks so much Seok! That means a lot, much appreciated. Chinese painting is definitely on my ' to try' list- you may halve given me a little extra nudge there! Many thanks again - looking forward to seeing your lovely work again too.

I enjoyed looking at the guide to painting a tiger using Chinese techniques by Seok Yam Chew on this site . Would love a go at Chinese style painting some day but it still inspired me to do a Tiger drawing just for fun!
