Wonderfully natural looking painting Sarah. Again, you’ve used your brushstrokes to good effect

A very good walk Sarah

Lovely crisp feeling. Like it

Terrific painting Sarah. I find muddy puddles/tracks like this make a really good subject or scene to paint. Very well done.

A good one, Sarah - love how you have captured that muddy area in the foreground.

Thank you very much Frank, Heather, Valerie, Tessa and David - really appreciate your comments. I seem to be strangely attracted to mud!!

Definitely what we have on our walks in Derbyshire Sarah, mud up to the axles! Good painting though.

Excellent depiction of the winter countryside.

Lovely painting Sarah.

Beautifully painted Sarah, that mud looks so wet in the painting I think it will stick to finger if I touch it .

I admire how this painting flows so well. and the very tactile texturing you have achieved Sarah.

A great painting Sarah, I especially like the way you have handled the mud in the foreground, the colours are just right too!

But only with watertight boots :-)

Oil on canvas panel 18 x 24 inches. From a walk on the Leicestershire/Lincolnshire border. It was pretty muddy!
