You're palette knife work is getting better and better Paul. You've caught the real sense of breezy day on the beach and the proportions of sky, dunes and sand is perfect for a great painting. Excellent!

14 x 10 oil on canvas board. This palette knife painting is of a small shoreside cottage in Porth Cwyfan close to Aberffraw on the Isle of Anglesey. My aim was to create a clean simple bright painting; I was thinking of putting some gulls into the scene but decided to leave them out (for now at least).

I have sketched and painted over many years. I live on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey which is blessed with extensive coastlines and the beautiful mountains of nearby Snowdonia providing plenty of inspirational subjects .
