Beautiful pastel work. Which pastel paper/card do you use Paul?

Thank you for the positive comments. In answer to Carole’s question... I used a mix of Derwent pastel pencils almond with Fabre castellated soft pastels. I used the reverse side (white side) of slater Harrison mounting card. Bit of an experiment as I wasn’t sure if it had enough ‘tooth’ to hold the pastel. Seems to have worked okay. Hope this helps.

Beautiful depiction of a beautiful subject. I have a pastel set but I cannot get to grips with them. I need lessons. When they are in the right hands they produce such wonderful results as you have proved.
