Frozen River.

Love this, the reflective light on the cliff and the turquoise glow of the ice , says it all.

Like the clarity of the light and colours.

Hang on Studio Wall

14 x 22 inch watercolour and pencil on paper. Just above the Arctic hamlet of Pangnirtung, on Baffin Island in Canada, is the Duval River. At the moment, it is frozen, but there are tell tale signs that a thaw is in progress beneath the thick ice. While I painted this, locals on their ski doos were coming up the mountain to collect water through a bore hole.
