I don't think you've failed at all, I like it a lot.

This painting is definitely a failure. I have inside knowledge. Trust me.

I wasn't really trying to achieve anything. This was simply an exercise in painting with no particular goal. I really wanted to be painting in the cathedral but didn't like just standing around waiting for it to open.

Hang on Studio Wall

Rather a cramped spot and therefore not an ideal composition. Still: good practice though.
