Unfinished or not it’s a fine painting, could be developed a bit further if you wanted too.

I think this is great. The earthy tones you use in so much of your work are always good.

Looks good to me, you could a figure or a cow to the scene perhaps?

14 x 22 inch watercolour on Langton, rough 140lb unstretched paper. I painted this as soon as I had finished the other painting. I knew that the sun would not be out for long so I rushed like mad to get this down. It took about half an hour and even by then, the sun was completely off the scene. Could have taken a photo, but the resulting painting would have inevitably born all the characteristically dull, lifeless hallmarks which once plagued my painting.
