Damp Day at Kenilworth.

14 x 22 inches watercolour and pencil on Langton smooth textured paper. At about 11.30 am yesterday I started this painting. I was standing under cover to keep out of the rain and ended up having to dig water channels into the ground, with my foot, in order to divert the rain water which was flowing towards my painting gear, lying on the ground near my easel. Because the paper was so damp, I added a little more texture to the painting when I got home.
