Beautiful soft washes, Rupert, I look forward the finished work.

Great start. I like that you've shown us the bones of your work. Once you get to the watercolour it springs to life!! The wing is already singing.

14 x 22 inches watercolour on paper. I sat under the wings of a Vulcan to paint this because I was expecting it to rain: it did. It rained so hard and the wind was so strong that I even had to retreat indoors from here. The Vulcan's wings leak like a sieve
