18" x 24" oil on canvas. This has stood around for a couple of weeks, part-finished. It had started to divide, compositionally, into two halves. The experience from two recent snow scenes suggested that I should emphasise the shadows in this to link the left and right. The last things I added were the telegraph poles as I think they lead the eye from left to right. I've replaced modern metal ones with the old wooden type.
