Thank you for your comments. I fell in love with Kalymnos on my first visit at the end of September last year and then a teaching week in May this year. Most of my paintings are done from sketches on site plus the use of a photo. However, for me it is the time I spend sketching and painting on site that gives me the input to interpret the scene as I see it. I shall be taking another group in September 2020.
