well done John lovely impasto effect for the foam overall another winner

Lovely John, I like the gulls, they add a real something to the painting.

Thank you David and Margaret, Its a first knock up in acrylic, doing more rocks and water to get the finished result better.

This lovely I can almost feel the spray as the waves hit those rocks!!

Lovely bit of sloshing and spattering here. Living near the sea I hate gulls, as they want to eat my fish and chips and poo on my car, but I love them in your painting. The closest one looks more like a gyr falcon, which I would really love to see. Are you working up to a bigger and better one in oil?

Thank you Donna. Thank you Linda. I will be working on a number of rocks and waves in oils. Trying to improve on each one. However always working with a palette knife. Acrylics are just not as good as oils forknife work. Acrylics do not have that buttery flow like oils.

Great foam, John. look forward to seeing the oils

A touch of drama John - I like that.

Can almost hear it..brill.

Love the foam and surf John, I can smell the salt.

Super, lively seascape John. Love the textures and it's a lovely composition.

Love the crashing waves, beauty John.

Fabulous foam John. Full of excitement yet there is calmness on the horizon. The beautifully painted seagulls add another dimension to the movement captured in the moment. I can smell the sea. Look forward to more.
