Beautiful, John, love Robins, my favourite garden visitor. (Know what you mean about being your children, the animals I paint are like little friends by the time I've finished painting them, and I've also parted with a few I wish I'd kept.)

I certainly fell in love with this picture at first sight!! You've managed to take a frequently painted subject and create a very original, and striking painting. The vibrant colours are wonderful. Brilliant John!
