This is a wonderful painting - I must have missed it when it first appeared on the site... one of your best paintings, Peter. Such an original composition, and you've depicted the different textures really well.

Are you sure you are a relative beginner, Peter. Think you may be telling porkies! Lots of nice rich texture. Particularly like the milk churns. Oh and the wall. Trees behind look pretty good too!

Took a watercolour painting course on board the Oriana in May last year. Got the bug. Bought lots of water colour materials. Later on joined a painting class in Hull. moved on to acrylics and do at least 2 or 3 paintings a week......Now have 3 hobbies, painting,photography and magic tricks.
