What a lovely thing to happen and a great characterful sketch of a very nice bird.

Great! I have never seen one in my garden. Don’t know why not. Lovely drawing!

Lovely sketch Denise, he looks a cheeky chappie.

Lovely work, Denise. He looks lively and about to shoot off, as they always do. That can be hard to capture. You've done it.

Superb and so well captured!

Lovely Denise. Great what happened too

Wonderful drawing and what a beady eye!

He was cheeky, but lovely! You were lucky to get him to pose Denise, he is gorgeous. Not so many around now.

Thanks for your lovely comments Sarah, Linda, Lesley, Lewis, David, Faye, Heather and Carole.

A superb sketch Denise and done do well, not easy to sketch and you certainly have caught the pose so well.

What a special experience Denise, you were rewarded with this pose….great job.

He looks rather fierce Denise but a great way of being able to paint a starling so well.

Good sketch Denise. Amazing that he didn't fly off

Lovely sketch Denise, he looks a little bit menacing.

This young starling landed on my wing mirror today whilst I was parked. He kept bobbing up and down and he eventually took a crumb of food from my hand. I never realised their feet are so large in comparison to their bodies. I managed to get a few photos of him close up.
