Demolishing the 70's.

It's good to try something different and you have succeeded with this Denise. The tumbling block works well with the dust and rubble from the detonation.

I like this a lot Denise , the dust cloud is excellent and it looks like it’s flowing out toward the viewers. The building is falling well , just before it starts to break up due to the stresses on the structure. Different and excellent a really good painting .

I really like this Denise, what a great idea and painting,

Such an original idea, Denise and so well done.

Good one Denise. Certainly different.

Good one Denise

Wow Denise, you are not afraid to tackle any subject! This is an amazing capture of a moment in time, and makes me think of the people who would have lived in such a building probably for decades. I like a story in a painting and you’ve certainly done that here.

Really good and the way you have painted the dust is a moment captured very well indeed

Thanks for your lovely comments Chris, Paul, Lesley, Mia, Linda, Romila, Tessa and Heather. This is one I really like for some reason.

Wow! Very spectacular! You have captured the moment very well!

Good one 👍

You are painting well Denise.

What a great story within your painting Denise. Love your imaginative approach. You have captured the dust flow extremely well.

Quite a tricky thing to draw - thanks to the angle. I like the fact that you're prepared to take on a wide range of subjects, some of which, being a touch conservative, would not have occurred to me .... (that and the work involved!).

Your words are very much appreciated David, Faye, George, Carole and Robert.

The dust cloud is fabulous Denise, as is the whole painting.

Thanks Fiona, so kind.

Love this Denise.

I must've missed this one Denise. It's very good, especially that dust cloud!

I once watched the demolition of a high rise block of flats. Well, three of them. It was good to watch. I really enjoyed doing this today. I've never done any technical drawing but I've tried my best with the building.
