Beautiful blue colour to your crocus, they are so nice to see when they come through. The flower heads are really well painted , I’m for the blue purple crocus as I love the colours, I like iris in similar colours as well. You have don3 a really good painting Denise and the hint of more in the background is really good.

The complimentary colours in this painting work well Denise and the crocuses well defined and painted with good composition and hint of back ground that makes it a united work..

Lovely, Denise - watercolour isn’t easy, but rewarding when you get a good result. The purple flower’s beautifully done, and I like the subtle background.

I try to spend time on watercolours, acrylics and oils. It might look like a basic painting but I found I ended up really concentrating. I thought it would be a quick practice but it took me much longer to complete.
