I see what you mean about the shape not being quite right, but recognising that is the first step to getting it right next time! Apart from that it’s a lovely painting with super sky and you’ve certainly got the feel of a big bulky ferry spot on Denise. For someone who’s only been painting a few months you are shooting ahead amazingly well. 👍🏻

Very firey ferry. Super sky. You have chosen a difficult angle with the boat (Not quite head on). It pays to spend a bit more time on the drawing stage with complex subject like this.
