Beautifully painted love the colours.

I love the way you have used colour in this and the great sense of light. The tree is well painted and overall a very good composition.

A beautiful combination of shapes, colour and light.

This has a touch of the unworldly, a kind of fantasy...angry trees. I like fantasy art, and I like this.

Fabulous colours, shapes and light. I really like this

You have a wonderful imagination and I think the way you have painted this is fantastic

Waiting for a Druid to appear :)), really like the pallet and the intertwining branches are the links to a mysterious past!, imagination is great is it not, nice one.

Many thanks to all, I’m looking at a few more trees this week to get some practice in.

Great fantasy tree, Diane. Love it.

Great shapes

OUTSTANDING COLOURS LOVE IT..........

Wow Denise, some wonderful shapes and colours going on here, great job!

Thanks Katy, Heather, Andrew and Alan. I have a picture of it not quite completed and I'm not sure if I should have stopped there.

Wonderful use of imagination and paint Denise.

Thanks Fiona.

You've got a great light in this, and warmth in the colours that makes the tree quite menacing in a way, but nothing like so strongly as it would have done if you'd used colder colours (i.e., blues, greys, black). I like it a lot - more, more.

Thanks for your comments Robert. I am trying some trees in watercolour over the weekend but I might do a variation of this tree also and try the colours you suggest.

Thank you for your nice comments ,Denise! I love this painting of yours, I am always really inspired by trees and unusual shapes ! Your painting is great !

Thanks Ann, trees, have a life of there own, they have personality, I think.
