This is a close-up to illustrate a bit of artistic licence going on: The doors are not in the right place on all houses! If you look carefully, each house is identical in structure, whereas normally on a terrace each door is directly next to an adjacent door; this means the fireplaces in each 'pair' of houses are back to back, allowing for a single chimney to service two fireplaces. For perspective, I used the double-diagonal construction technique to generate the positions of each receding house.
