October at the Allotment

Lovely impressionist painting Nia. Good work.

Excellent colours and composition - my eye is drawn to the white shed which contains the lightest values.

Fabulous painting

There are too many great paintings on the page today! Making me very jealous... This represents the true glory of plein air: you could labour over this and tweak it into high detail in the studio, but why on earth would you? You've said absolutely all that needs to be said, and have captured the light with great immediacy. Love that tree, by the way - and the thinly painted fence, or shed, that leads you into it.

Always enjoy seeing your work Nia and this is exceptionally good. Love the shapes and brushstrokes.

Loosely painted but effective - love your pallet and brushstrokes Nia.
