Caught my eye, this. Great positioning, love the contrasts and the brushstrokes. I'm assuming it's an oil?

Marjorie, yes it's oil on canvas, about 2 ft square. It lay in a much different state for a year. I hated it. Then I took to it in a much freer style now I like it. New here, so still negotiating the site.

The free style works well, Gerard.
