A super watercolour, Michael!

A superb painting - that sky is awesome!

Corrr….Michael this is fabulous! The sky is so heavy with rain and that dark cloud on the left balances up nicely with the tower. Love the way you have handled the foreground, much less fussy than mine and I prefer yours.

Really well painted Michael, I love the fenland and the big sky’s you get in East Anglia , this is a good representation of one .

I like this a lot as I rather like dramatic skys.

Thank you very much Ann & David. Does looks bit gloomy doesn’t it! Fiona - thank you heaps. Bit cheeky using your lovely picture as a crib. Wasn’t sure how a watercolour would turn out; rather different technique painting in oils. Had to get my skates on with the sky and hope for the best.Would have liked to have got a little more colour into it. At least the bottom quarter is a rather Phipps-ish. Btw, you could always take a picture down to find space for your beauty on the wall. Paul & Val-Irene - appreciate your kind comments; pleased you like this rather ominous looking view!

This is a winner for me Michael, super skies and sense of impending weather

Love the colours and clouds.

Passes the "Good painting" test comfortably Michael. Nice work.

Thank you Paul (missed you!), Heather, Janet and Jim.

Very brooding!

Absolutely, Emma !

Love this Micheal- very atmospheric

Thank you Rachel

Fiona's recent Inspired Seago-ish painting inspired me to have a go at a similar scene in watercolour. My sky looks as if the heavens are about to open hence my title to this imaginery scene.
