Lol...you probably do know this place Michael, at least your subconscious recognises it as a place tucked away in your memory. I wouldn’t mind visiting there myself! A beautiful idyllic scene with depth and fab greens.....with a touch of Haar on the water and the left hand trees.

An imaginary scene. I 'pinched' the water from a demo by Geoff Hunt in 'The Artist' magazine. Not surprisingly, I couldn't paint it as well as him but it's not bad I hope. Water upwards I made it up as I went along trying not to be too fussy. My wife keeps asking me "why don't you paint some where recognisable; people like pictures of places they know". Good question!
