Lovely qualities, Michael.

Like how the path disappears in the distance Michael.

Beautifully interpreted Michael. I especially like how you have created the patches of ice on the water in the foreground, that’s clever, I’ve been thinking how to achieve that. The darkness of the trees makes a striking contrast against the blue sky.

Thank you very much Shirley Carole and Fiona. Fiona- I don’t think I did your photo justice; fun to paint but tricky! Didn’t get that frosty crunchy underfoot effect! The ice btw is simply undiluted titanium white straight from the tube.

Thank you Linda. I wasn’t entirely happy with it but decided to fiddle no longer in case I ruined it completely!
